B. Tech Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is one of the popular programmes. It focuses on the core computing concepts, programming, data base, software engineering, networking, and artificial intelligence.
The department has a vision to play significant role and make focused efforts for achieving academic excellence and develop motivated graduates with knowledge, aptitude, and skills required by the software industries. The Department has collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services, CISCO, Eduskills Foundation for academic excellence. For enriching technical strength of student online courses offered by Coursera, Sailor and Swayam portals is part of the curriculum.
Our faculty members are engaged in the advanced research areas of Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Data Analytics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, and Computer Networking.

Message from Head of Department

Welcome to the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Medi-Caps University, Indore. We started our journey in the year of 2000. Over the past 2 decades, we have grown our expertise and competence in the core Computer Engineering curriculum and research. The primary focus of our curriculum is to impart technical know-how to students, promote their problem-solving skills and innovation of new technologies. Department offers large numbers of optional courses for providing wide spectrum of options to the students to pursue their interests. The course contents are regularly updated to meet out the challenges of software industries. students are encouraged to undergo internship and undertake industry projects. Our department has a distinguished record in both teaching and research. It has experienced faculty members specialising in database, cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, networks, cryptography, machine learning, software engineering, data analytics, and cyber security, etc. The department has close ties up with the industries. Summer internships and focus of the programme to enhance technical skills, prepare our students for software industries.
