The basics of mechanical engineering are the initial step toward learning and gaining knowledge to become a mechanical engineer. This lab is equipped with models of different types of engines, their parts, the steam boilers, the various measuring instruments used in metrology and many more. The student is educated to accept the challenges of future (in mechanical engineering) through this lab. The main objective of this laboratory is to practically deliver an introduction about what the student is going to study in higher classes about the mechanical engineering.
Robotics and Automation(RA)
Robotics and Automation engineers design robotic systems and research methods to manufacture them in a cost effective manner. Robotics and Automation deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, feedback and information processing. These technologies deal with automated machines that can take the place of humans in hazardous environments or manufacturing processes.
Scope of Robotics and Automation (RA):
This course educates a student in the field of artificial intelligence, computer-aided manufacturing, computer integrated manufacturing system, robot motion planning and digital electronics. Robotics is an essential aspect in modern manufacturing industries. With increase in modern technologies scope for robotics also increases.
